____ is an object of awkward intrigue and anorexia.

To reflect on our time at Richard Meier & Partners, we chose to work from an existing chair designed by Mr. Meier in the 80s. Though the project began light-heartedly, the process allowed many critical discussion to surface. Designing a chair probed us to question ideas surrounding craftsmanship, the anthropologic relation of objects and the body, Art within Design, and the role of error, to name a few.
